To formally start this year’s Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) of the Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (CSU-SM ROTC) today, May 23, a courtesy call was held at the campus conference hall. The event was attended by Dr. Rodel Francisco Alegado, campus executive officer of CSU-SM, Mr. Chris Ian Rodriguez, ROTC coordinator, Mr. Valentin Apostol, NSTP coordinator, Dr. Jose Sherief Panelo, dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, some members of the faculty of Florencio L. Vargas College (FLVC) headed by Dr. Emelie Ayap and Maila Rosario College – Sanchez Mira led by Cap. Carlito Fagela Jr., Sgt. Shay Ann B. Quigao, and the members of the RAATI Team chaired by LTC Rogelio Benitez GSC PA (RES). The commandant’s briefing with LTC Edwin Guillermo PA (RES) and the inspection of admin aspect by the RAATI Team followed afterward.

After a simultanueos display of skills and knowledge acquired from the ROTC Program, LTC Edwin Guillermo PA (RES), commandant, led the turnover of unit color followed by the acceptance of unit color by LTC Rogelio T. Benitez GSC PA (RES), RAATI Chairman. The event was graced by Hon. BGen. Abraham Bagasin, local chief executive of Sanchez Mira, who delivered an inspirational message.
