After being evaluated by the different Office of the Student Development and Welfare (OSDW) campus coordinators and central staff led by Dr. Loraine Tattao, OSDW director, four students and four student organizations of Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira (CSU-SM) made it to the list of Outstanding Student Leaders, Journalists, and Organizations during the university-wide search.

 

The Touchstone’s Lovely Danica Durante, editor-in-chief, and Myrrha Prima Rosa Muli, associate editor for online, placed 4th and 6th Outstanding Student Journalists, respectively.

 

For the Search for Outstanding Student Leaders, Jazrael Siriban, vice president of the Campus Student Council (CSC) placed 5th while CSC Senator Angeline Grace Barcena landed in 10th place.

 

Moreover, CSU-SM CSC led by President Roldan Fernandez was hailed as the 3rd Outstanding Campus Student Council. The College of Criminal Justice Education and the College of Business Entrepreneurship and Accountancy also received recognition as the 5th and 7th Outstanding College Student Council, respectively.

 

Being the only specialized organization on the campus that made it to the list, the Philippine Society of Agricultural & Biosystems Engineers Pre-Professional Group of the College of Engineering secured the 8th spot.
