CSU FACULTY AND STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN UiTM SUMMER EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN MALAYSIA
Five (5) faculty members and sixteen (16) students from Cagayan State University participated in the University Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Summer Exchange Program in Malaysia from July 8-12, 2024.
The faculty members serving as visiting lecturers included VP for Partnership and Resource Mobilization and Internationalization, Dr. Giged T. Battung, and the Director for Internationalization, Assoc. Prof. Kristinne Joyce A. Lara. Joining them are Asst. Prof. Bradley Invierno from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ms. Jane Quilang from the College of Industrial Technology and Asst. Prof. Arlene C. Patricio from the College of Engineering and Architecture.
The student participants are Jazelle Marie D. Cabalza (BSIT), Max Aervin E. Dumayas (BSIT–MT), Natasha Ishi P. Ballad (BSIT), Jan Andrea C. Careng (BS Mathematics), Leideelie B. Perciano (BEED), Rea Mae R. Villa (BEED), Jayson R. Silva (BTVTED-FSM), Justin C. Pamparo (BTVTED-FSM), Dindie P. Roldan (BTVTED-FSM), Arden P. Verzola (BTLED – Home Economics), Trisha Mae A. Tranquilo (BTLED – Home Economics), Queeny Jane Y. Corpuz (BTLED – Home Economics), Olivia Janele Okanime (BS Hospitality Management), Jeremy C. Mangulad (BS Hospitality Management), Rica Mae Sagadraca (BSED – English) and Erica Mae Pedro (BSED – Mathematics).
The UiTM Summer Exchange Program provides an enriching experience that combines academic coursework, cultural activities and excursions. This exchange aimed to strengthen international collaboration, giving them a deeper appreciation of the diverse cultures and educational systems in Southeast Asia.
